Thanks for viewing/comments! I was called name to get this shot for being

in a place where I should not by some birdwatcher who claimed to be

associated with the adubon society for over 20 years. Well, I was in the

properplace as far as I know I and think birdwatchers are a bunch of ...

J*$%!

Thanks Dom! Different mindset Dom.  'some' birdwachers think they are nobility or something when it comes to birds. I've been shooting at the same place over a month with no one to tell me that I am at the wrong place since there's a sign there that said don't go in deeper and that's where I was at. However, on that day the sign disappear and I was 'implied' as a liar and then call name.  I've seen birdshooter yell/scream at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine and the kicker is last Sunday when I was there, some kids (family outing) was throwing boulder in the ponds and almost hit some birdshooters in the bushes ...where were those noble birdwatcher then ?

Well, to be frank, I would say there are extremist on both camp but I sure don't like some of the birdwatchers and I hope they close their eyes when they see bird photos since they don't deserve to see them. LOL!

These avocets are a beautiful bird Tm, and though I will never see one in real life,  I am very grateful for your patience in getting such a beautiful shot, so I can view vicariously.

Thanks for sharing !

Jim

PS - and I hope those birdwatchers leave you alone in future.  Live and let live, life is too short.

Hi Tm J,

It is nice to see an excellent lens used properly to produce such a magnificent image.

As for those that called you names, etc, the "selective hearing procedure" comes to mind.

Best Regards,  Mike
