I had been trying some B&W infrared photography with a filter, then

removed the filter and forgot to switch my digital camera back to color, but

I think the image has a different character than it would have in bright

color. Thanks if you decide to leave a critique.

Thanks. I was attracted by the forms and their juxtapositions, but also by the luminosity provided by direct sunlight on these metal roofs *. My digital camera has a black and white option which I used with an added B&W filter (light red, I think) on the 50mm lens (effective 67mm) to darken the sky. I was surprised by the effect, which is not due to Photshop, except for minimum tweaking of light values.

* (The metal roofs are very typical of Quebec City and even traditional rural Quebec architecture. It is said that these roofs "à la Canadienne" were first assembled from the subsequently broken down sides of square boxes of tea that were transhipped to merchants in the city, right after the "Boston Tea Party" of the late 18th century prompted England to send remaining stocks to Canada).
