Anne,

In viewing the thumbnails of the four shots you have of this guy, for some reason I'm drawn mostly to this one!

If it were mine, and I'm envious that it's not! I think I would re-work this one, or at least maybe re-crop doing away with the shadow at the bottom of the frame and leaving a bit more of the evergreen at the top and possibly a bit more to one side or the other or both.

I wish it had been downloaded to a size that could have been viewed larger, but the details in the Owl itself appear satisfactory from what I can tell at this size. The eyes appear a bit underexposed, but maybe there's something to work with if they could be isolated and lightened a bit. Really can't tell.

Still, . . . all four of these are wonderful photographs just as they are!

I also wish this was my shot...lol....and I also don't like the blue shadow in the foreground. Cropping it out, IMHO would put the bird too far at the bottom. Maybe you could clone it out.
