You guess it right. It's a 3 frame HDR. I shoot b&w for the tone, texture and detail and HDR does an amazing job of bringing that all out in a scene. Thanks!

Great detail, and nice curves. Your B&W tones, and contrast give interest to what may have been a dull winter scene.
