We were invited to have milk-tea in the nomad tent of a Kazakh familyliving high up on the Khovd river, close to the Chinese and Russianborder of Western Mongolia. The Kazakh gers (yourtes) are beautifullydecorated and larger than the gers of other Mongolians. The table is covered with different kind of self made milk productsand sweets.

Thanks for feedback and rating. Karl

The wide angle view is excellent and your composition really good.  Interesting shot with all the colours and food.  Very much like the onlooker looking in from the left.

Best regards

Jim

Karl, I hope that you have a large stock of thees images that you haven't posted yet. I never tire of seeing the slices of life that are alien to me. Your storytelling is always welcome.

Very nice image Karl. I tried Mongolian food but perhaps it needs acquired taste to enjoy their culinary skills.

Dear Alec, there are different tastes for food. I offred once Swiss cheese to a Nepali porter. He tasted it. Then he said: it is good, very good...but I do not like it.
