Your subject does not look a "happy chappie". His face looks strained and his "knotted hands" do not add any value to the image. The additional space either side of him, for me, is a waste of space, and you might have considered going "portrait mode" for this shot.

This may sound harsh, which is unfortunate, but I can't think of any other way to explain what I am seeing.................
