Hi Joao,

Such a beautiful mammal. Great shot technically.

Whenever Betsy and I go out to dinner with first timers to Florida, the folks become distressed when we order Dolphin. We explain that the "dolphin" food source is the fish by the same name or called Mahi Mahi , not related to the porpoise family .

Best Regards,  Mike

Hi Mike!

I worked for some years in trawler ships around the world and know some stories about dolphins and "dolphin food"...Fortunately people becomes more aware of this lovely and remarkable animal and want to protect them! So do I (and you).

Best regards!

Yes Alec you are right, he had the eyes closed in the momment of the photo. But I can tell you that he did a perfect "show"acting with the humans (in Lisbon zoo). Thanks for your visit and comment. Best regards.

Majestic in its simplicity. Gives me a whole new impression of the dolphin, who is normally always portrayed as "just smiling". Here we get a glimpse of something far more interesting. Well done!
