The wind blows strongly and rain pours heavily as the Spring storm

rapidly melts the snow across Eastern Europe, while pedestrians, as

usual, fight the Spring weather, just as they did Winter's bitter cold

and will again when Summer's oppressive heat arrives. Your ratings,

critiques and observations are invited and most welcome. If you rate

harshly, very critically or wish to make an observation, please submit

a helpful and constructive comment; please share your photographic

knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks! Enjoy! john

Sterling work. Well toned, nice balance and depth. The chosen pov uses the paving tiles to good effect. Placement of the figures, their direction of movement, also adds to the visual impact.

Sterling Comment.

Nothing to add.

Makes up for the dearth of other comments, and I recommend all to read yours to understand this (I think, underrated) photo's elements.

I think this is extremely workmanlike, and although not 'perfect' it is a classic Crosley street photo I am very proud of.

With great thanks and respect.

One definition of a 'street photograph' is whether it 'smells of street'.

To me this definitely 'smells of street', grit and all.

Positively reeks of street and grit, in my own view.

I can't get much closer than this to a true 'street' photo.

If you had to find a woman who was prototypically Kyiv - part country but working in the city, and fashion be damned, because there is hard work to be done, just like on the farm -- this hard-charging, wind-blown woman is it.

Thanks for the comment.
