Superb understated tones and light. The geometric angles pleasantly unfathomable, a real delight to view!

I like the colors and form.  The dark hand rails cutting through really adds dimension.

Beautiful forms and colours! The only thing that does not seem to fit into the composition is the small, open ring shape at the bottom left. Just a tiny bit cut off the bottom would take away that irritation.

Gunnar, this appears as though it is sculpted from glass or ice and lit from within, giving it a very fragile quality. The delicate lines seemingly etched into the surface heighten the fragility of it. The dark angular railings cutting through the image provide a nice tension and seem almost a threat. It's quite beautiful.

Double underline the comments above. Good example how the simple principles of geometry can add greatly to the feeling of depth. Compliments for this series Gunnar!

wow gunnar! very well done.

only a couple of comments. 1. i wish the triangle point, a bit off center at the top edge was not clipped and 2. i would have liked to see the diagonal line near the bottom right edge of the image, being the anchor point, just like the bottom left. it would have required a slightly different crop, but in an image about geometry (and light and color), these little things make the difference.

still, wonderful shot and stair! wow! i think it's steel not glass as mentioned above (the rivets are the give-away) but where is it?

Dror, your suggestion is very useful. While next time visiting this building I will take it into account. It is Caixa Forum in Madrid. You can find additional information about the architecture and architects in internet.

Love the 'luminescence' and 'perceived translucence' of these wonderful bluish/turquoise toned shapes...  Ditto the above compliments, Gunnar -- the overall graphic effect is great. Dror has made some very valid observations... but I like it as is already very much. best, Marjolein

Beautiful composition Gunnar! Impressive merging of shapes and lines, lovely use of light and as others have said the 'luminosity' is most attractive.

Lovely work.

Most sincerely, Gail

I second Dror's minor critics but anyway you captured the inviting feel of this building's inner soul. Knowing your limited spare time during all your duty tours and likely many visitors inside there, you had to act fast.

I did googling to find out more about this building: quite fancy design, I must say. There must be a valid reason for only these indoors scenes, maybe the time of the day outside was against you... or you are savoring more photos for later presentation? Or re-take during next visit??
