This is really a lesson in B/W  and grey composition.Very nice play with/of  interesting angles/ triangles .Add it to my collections!

Been away from critiquing for a while. Nice to come back to this. What Jack says! The stark shadow gives so much to this photo, making a play with foreground, background, adding depth, and giving the composition a great kind of dynamism. It feels like you've included just what's needed here, keeping the photo suggestive, letting us know what we have here, but abstracting it nonetheless. A thought occurs to me about the tulip itself, which is to suggest a little more 3-dimensional roundness with some very subtle lightness and shading. A really strong image and beautifully rendered.
