pano of 2 photos. The reflections in the water are weird if you compare them to the sky but they were like that. I only highlight them a little bit. Did some treatement on sky (contrast, noise ninja), water (highlights, smart sharpen), sand (highlights). But I am not satisfied. Maybe to much work and high expectation. There is some other possibility of a pano (more red and dark different shore lines) with that sunset... I'll see !!

Please view larger. Pano of 2 photos. Dont hésitate to tell me what's

missing in this photo to be a better photo. I am disapointed with it. Not

enough directional lines or objetcs in the foreground ! I dont know ?

The sun was setting to the left. So the sky is light from dark to the right

(east).

Tx for your help.

The colours are really nice and the light gradation from left to right looks good also. The foreground sand / mud? looks quite colourless and therefore I think if I were faced with the same scene I would have tried to get nearer to the small island and compose the image around that making th emost of the sky and its reflected colour, and also attempt a long exposure to accentuate that colour and smooth the water, just a couple of ideas.

Best Regards

Martin, I'll throw out another suggestion.  What Alf says about the colorless sand is true, but I really liked the texture or ridges that are readily apparent there (especially when viewed large).  I put the large version on my screen and then scrolled up until the top edge was just above the two pink diagonal clouds right at center and just to the left of center.  At that point, I thought the composition was looking even better.  That throws off the aspect ratio, and I'd crop from the right until you got your preferred ratio (as long as you don't start slicing that dark island on that side).  Just another view....

Many tx for your constructive comments. It made me think the photo and that's why I'm here for :)

P.S. Yes they are some lines in the water: too much sharpening. This will be easy to correct.
