First of all, Amazing portfolio! What a beautiful bridge. This is a good, well composed photo.  However, I think the reflection on the bottom left is distracting. I know it's not always possible, but it's best not to shoot through the windshield. I would stick the camera out the window while someone else is driving. Unfortunately you don't have many options since you can't stop your car on the bridge, and I don't see any walkways. You may also be able to Photoshop out the reflection. This is all just my opinion, I'm sure it doesn't bother others as much as it does me. Keep shooting!

Hi Charlie,

thank you very much for your input and appreciation plus advice and suggestions.

Yeah, this is one of those photos which make you wonder what would have been best.

I happened to sit in the right side front seat of the car. So, the only way to take this picture was: through the windshield, putting the lens against the glass. That's how the reflections are created.

They show that the photographer was travelling, not just quietly standing on the road (which is not allowed!) to take the picture. Thus the aspect of travel is documented.

Of course, with photoshopping you may get rid of the reflections but then the travel aspect is gone too. A matter of taste, I tend to think.

Another way of shooting this image would have been to sit behind the driver, open the window & trying to keep the camera still in a turbulent air stream with a speed of, say, 60 mph. No reflections here but a great chance of getting a rather blurred image.

That's my two cents;-)

cheers

Sam
