The low light level displayed is what I have often encountered at such events. I am, pleased to see you represent the scene as it really appeared.

Again, the 20mm at F/1.7 demonstrates the value of a very good high speed lens.

The first time I went to this place I just enjoyed the music over some beer. Next evening I went back with my equipment, enjoyed the music, had some drinks, and took lots of photographs. Nice people, great ambiance, and music much to my liking.

I have tried to be subtle in my processing (with Lightroom and the Color Efex Pro 4 plug-in) while remaining true to the scene as I remember it. There has been no manipulation beyond dodging and burning, tonal adjustments and sharpening, here and there. And a little cropping.

I'm very happy with this photograph...

Has to be seen large,nice atmospher,the dim light is enhancing the mood.In my feeling the green line near his face needs to be soften a bit. Nice work.
