dave,  simple lovely image,  think it might work even better in sq format,  really like right end of image.  to me there is too much distance between focal flowers and blurry flower on other end for this to be in good balance,  it might work if blurry flower were also in focus,  but the way it is, think a sq format is the answer.  this is all of course just my opinion.  nice work!

Thank you each for stopping by and thank you all for your thoughts.  Roger, thank you for the square suggestion.  I had already worked it, but thought I would test fly this format for opinions.  You know, trying to think "outside the box".  I did have my own reservations about the effort though, too much distance I really think as well.  Best regards all...

Great stuff, the colors of the flower are great and of the background also, only the brighter area in the left bottom corner should be cloned out!

Best regards DL!

I quite like the original and although there is that distance to contend with, the image as a whole has a faintly japanese flavour that I find really appealing.  That being said the adjustments and square format create a new and wholly different image where the colour and detail are an absolute delight to view.

Sincere Compliments Dave!
