Seen here playing Bansuri(Bamboo flute) is V. Hemapala Perera, Sinhala Artist. He lost his eye-sight at the age of 5, but plays many instruments, with equal ease and artistry. An artist extra-ordinary.

This angle is much better than the previous one as his face is well seen as well as his hands with the flut. I try to help you to deal with the stage lights that are very strong ,and with his nice cloths it is too yellow all together. It is a small example but I lowered the saturation and cloned out the microphone.( which is touching his face and is not adding to the flutist. I hope you don't mind, but a good way to deal with the lights is to underexpose a bit while clicking and adjuasting later on... What do you think?

very interesting photo. for the subject of course, and also for this magic light that seems to prefear the tradition of the dress that the man that today is playing, as if men change, but the tradion stay. i understand why pnina suggest to erase the microphone. maybe a little more of space on the right had be better, and, erasing the microphone, is as if you do that.

Beautiful color tonality. A skillfully captured photograph with an appreciable feeling tone. The dark background is really effective. Regards.
