Hi all, friends.

This is a remake of one of the first picture I took with my brand new nikon

d300 in 2008 and that I uploaded here. Now I would like to know what do

you think of this one, someway richer and more 'desgined' (at least this has

been my goal).

Thanx in advance for stopping by.

Mauro

Mauro,

I think your picture is good.  At first sight, it shows simplicity, order and character.  The open book has a dynamic sign of presence and the shell (in contrast) a sense of duration.  These two items in some way give balance to your main subject which is the idea of books and education, perhaps in the sixties... the beautiful handwriting has that rigorous zeal and charm.  Your image is a real Atlantide so different from today eBooks.  Compliments,  Bachir

Grazie mille, Giuseppe. Ci sono ancora e per avere giudizi tecnici e imparare qualcosa in più ci sarò sempre, ma in questo momento il mio interesse, come sai, mi porta altrove... :-)

A presto, qui o là.

Thank-you so much, Bachir, for you thoughts. You read in the picture what I would have written, and this is very important to me 'cause it means that I've been able to communicate these feelings in a correct and effective way.

From an information view point, this collection of book belongs more or less to the sixties,... but those of the XIX century! The author of the handwritten titles was my wife's grand-grandmother.

C U soon

Mauro

trovo che le tue composizioni abbiano sempre un qualcosa in più. Mi piace il contrasto di colori tono su tono. ciao! Elena
