Morro do pico, Fernando de Noronha Island

Great capture from a place most never have an opportunity to see. 

Very nice.

I like the composition very much, primarily because the horizontal line between the beach and the trees divides the scene into two parts that are both similar and opposite.  Similar in that both halves have diagonal lines that form V-shapes.  The shape of the waves mimics the shape of the outcrop.  But the top and bottom parts of the picture are also opposites, in texture, in tone, and nearly in color.  Good shot!

I like the foreground (lines and colors are awesome). The sky is not that appealing to me (maybe lack of contrast?).

The foreground exposure and fanned waves are very attractive and provide a great lead into the photo.  However, I don't like that the image is split in two, and I don't care for the shape of peak.  I know, it's a difficult subject!  Regards, Jeff
