The willow

It's a very good winter photo series. The mountain on the other side of the lake is however a bit distracting here.

I can see why you like this particular tree:  it has a great form, and the dark branches contrast so well with everything else within the frame.  I don't mind the far shore being visible -- it's very subtle and does give some depth to the photo.  What's missing for me is where the tree connects to the ground.  It's almost shown, but not quite.  Personally, I feel that showing this connection usually enhances the photograph, unless of course the intention is to show just a portion of the crown.  But if it comes this close, it should go all the way, IMO.
