You have captured a great flavour of the history and atmosphere of the location. The quiet subdued backstreet with the womans colourful dress and shy demeanor adds a charm and authenticity that is most appealing.  It can't have an easy shot either with a lot of high contrasting areas to contend with, but you have managed the light really well.

Sincere Compliments Hamid.

Very professional light management. Great composition. The colors are so calming and the girl's dress really adds beauty to the whole scene. All and all this capture is one of the best ones in your portfolio. BRRAAVVOO Hamid.

This is an exquisite photograph, IMO.  You had exceptionally difficult light, yet it is controlled remarkably well -- I can see color in the clouds just above the sun, there is a soft light on the walls of the buildings, and the colorful clothing can easily be seen.  I wish for the beauty and historical richness of this place to continue for another thousand years.

Thank you so much for your visit, nice comments, and generous rates. Much appreciated.

Alf, im recently hardly working on light and how to play with it. Actually any photo is not just light and different shades of it. This way, i learned, tried and used so many techniques, in camera and post processing, to achieve best visually appealing well-controlled light in special scenes and moments, like shooting into the sun, with low light moody and detailed end result. Model is my lovely daughter, Nona, in special local costume. She's also a good photographer and painter. Thank you again for your kind words.

Niki, I,m also happy to see your comments; happy to hear from you. Thanks dear friend.

Stephen, thank you for your thorough analysis and insightful description. and thank you so much for your wish, highly valuable for me.

My best regards,

Hamid.

Hamid, the handling of the light is wonderful. I like the line of water running between the buildings and the way the light reflects on it. The light on your daughter is perfectly done.

This is very well done!  The ray of light on the pavement gives a sense of hope and expectation figure on the left.  Very nice!

Amazing Photo! Wonderful light! Based on the angle of the sun I would expect much of her dress to be in a shadow, did you illuminate it with a reflector?

Best regards,

Charlie

Very difficult lighting conditions , but you've got the exposure just right . A fantastic image! My only crit. is having your logo in the picture , I find it distracting although it doesn't seem to bother anyone else ! Excellent shot . Bill
