thomas_moraitis 0 Posted June 22, 2003 It'a great composition, but I find that the girl is a bit lost in the croud. I would have used more contrast or less depth of field. I'm curious to see other opinions as well. Link to comment
jeremy_podolski 0 Posted June 25, 2003 I love the composition but the backlighting without compensation made the foreground too dark for my tastes. Link to comment
davidmalcolmson 0 Posted June 27, 2003 It's a pity that so many distracting elements prevented you from capturing the ideal image I'm sure you had in mind - I sympathise, it's happened to me on occasion. There is a lovely and humorous situation here which is obscured by the surrounding clutter. To have been really effective you would have had to isolate the child and the tight-rope walker from the background - have you tried blurring the background more (in Photoshop)? -it could make all the difference. joel_le_montagner 0 Posted July 4, 2003 beaucoup d'amour dans cette photo. Je ne suis pas sûr que le fait de brouiller le fond améliore, bien au contraire (et pourtant, je suis un adepte de ce genre d'artifice). Non, c'est ok au naturel, changez rien !! Link to comment
eric_zimmerman1 0 Posted July 7, 2003 The composition is worthy of Cartier-Bresson. I do agree with those who suggest that the background is too sharp. Link to comment
stephanie_oswald 0 Posted July 8, 2003 Bonjour! Ca fait plaisir de voir des autres francais! I think it's a good catch, but something is missing to make it a very good photo. I also think that it would be better if the girl could be more separated from the background. A way to do it would be to blur the background, as some said. But you could also, if you develop your film yourself (or on photoshop I guess..) make the girl lighter than the rest, and darken the background. For me it's a good moment that is on the photo, and it would be worth the effort to try to improve it. Link to comment
