Strange, original and slightly worrying, but a very clever piece of eye catching work. Best wishes and congrats william

Strangley the lack of eyes is  the worrying thing for me, can' explain more than that, just a personal horror, hang up or fear.  Best wishes William

Thanks again. Commenting on something you 'don't like' is very humbling. I am not sure if you will take any 'comfort' from this but I don't like this myself... well... not in the aesthetic sense at least.

Hi David, have you stopped taking your tablets? :)  For me, a very disturbing image. I see a good female figure surmounted by two asexual heads - both faces and heads could be male or female if the details were visible - and  both look too large to be on the body they are mounted on - no eyes, no mouth, and blocked nostrils?? An inspired, imaginative shot, but I reckon a psychoanalyst would have a field day with it. The more I look at it - the more I like it - so what does that tell you about me?? :) PS. What is the red bit bottom right?

7 from me.

Disturbing, but nonetheless, compulsive veiwing and thought provoking material. The muted featureless heads seems to be trying in vain to say something, thier statement never to be told, they remain a muffled scream, a choked speech, an unvented expression. Weird, but brilliant!

Best Regards

Alf

Andrew, I was hoping someone would mention the size of the head(s.) I too thought they were too large or looked too large. The size is 'natural' although she doesn't have two of them. I have to say I don't get the asexual faces. Perhaps that is because I knew I was photographing a female. What does it say about you? Well, personally speaking I appreciate that you took the time to write such a lengthy comment. Perhaps you are as strange as me. As for the red chilli, it is simply a signature. It is on most of my photos. I am not sure why I started it. I am not sure about a lot of things in life. Thanks a lot.

Alf, Isn't weird such a wonderful word? I am glad you (don't) like it. Thanks for taking the time.

Ilkka, I am glad you stopped by. Thanks!

I see something else going on here other than just the two heads.  This is an asymetrical image, isn't it?  Correct me if I'm wrong...but aren't the left and right sides mirror images of each other (except for the navel)?  I like it.

I think (unless I get you wrong) you mean symmetrical. You are absolutely correct. I am tickled (for want of a better word) that you noticed the navel.

The head(s) were mirrored too although I edited them individually so that they would look slightly different.

Thanks for the comment. Thanks even more for studying this.

It's clever and fun work, no doubt.  And the two heads side by side are what give the illusion that either is too large for the body.

The hands, of course, were the giveaway about the manipulation.  They just jumped out at me.
