Software: Adobe Photoshop CS4 Windows;

I shopped out the chair that was visible in the original photo (near the end of this same folder).

This was shot in 2004, Diane, and after eight years I really don't remember precisely what I did.  Most recently, for this version, I did shop out what looked like a wooden lawn chair in the distance just to the left of the tree in the middle--not really too obvious, but Charles Griffin suggested that I get rid of it, since it is not a simple documentary shot.  On the other hand, the manipulations, whatever they were, were not massive.  Perhaps if I can find the original files and worked over versions on some hard drive somewhere, I can figure out what I did specifically.  The park always had a special look to me, especially when the lighting was unusual.

I do know that this version was shot into bright sunlight from a heavily shaded area sometime during the afternoon.

Version I is near the end of this folder.  It is almost identical except for the chair.  The version shown above has been upsized, and that does affect matters of softness.

Hi Lannie,

I like the effect.

I could write a small book about the camera and lens used for this shot, and why this image appeared like this, but the fact remains that the image is successful to represent a "fantasy".

Best Regards,  Mike
