Artistically a nice image. Could have be created by other means , too.

Technically, I would never consider such an f-stop for such a fine lens.

any shallower f- stop would not have produced the depth of clarity obtained here.

greg,  this is really very attractive,  it does sort of look like a lotus in a abstract way.  just heard on the radio we should now expect a weather bomb in the next 24 hours,  lots more rain and terrific winds.  that could well mean the end of the gardens for this summer,  which is a real bummer as have just gotten back into taking a few images.  hope your both well,  and enjoying first signs of spring.
