Thanks for viewing/comments! He plays with his dinner for quite a while and

that helps ... since I originally had the 1.4X TC one. Took it off while he was

playinng with his dinner and got a a bunch of shot (this one included).

Look like he got a catfish.  Seems like a lot of birds don't like to mess with them because of the barbs they have, which is probably why he played with it so long.  Great colors, contrast and bg.  To me the legs look chopped even though they are underwater.

An outstanding capture........... and I would say Yes, to a catfish.

What makes this image, for me, is the angle of capture.... you are shooting at it, not down to it.

The clarity and definition is very good................ well done.

Splendid shot!  The bird, fish, color, detail and composition are all excellent, but the water droplets make the shot for me... Mike

Thank you folks!

- Monte, I know what you mean about the chop-off look. I think a bit more room at the bottom would help but this one is basically a fullsize shot and there's no room in the bottom.

- Grayham, very good observation, I was squatting down to shoot at his eye level. :-)

- Mr. Mancil, I share the same thought as you are about the water drops make the shot.

Hello sir!

This is an unique and most beautiful capture!

The bird itself is so excellently presented in colors and feather details with really great balance in color together with the colorful background and then adding to this your have this life-reality with the water reflections and the birds lunch and the water drops captured so delightfully and clearly!

Outstanding and most wonderful shoot!

Congratulation sir!

A real pleasure to enjoying this very good excellent photo yours sir!

All the Best
