The halo. L'auréole.

Long,long time no see you Martin,nice to have you back,interesting change of subject from the birds,hope to see more from you,in this one mood created with this abandoned barn and light is what caught the attention,best regards.

This is a composite picture of a serie of 3 photos taken at night

between 35 and 50 sec. The light in the sky is coming from the city at

far. I have place my self so it was just over the old barn.

The sense of the luminosity is communicated well and I'm also very impressed that the trees look so sharp, something that can be difficult to achieve during a long exposure. (I can only assume there was little or no breeze present). The dilapidated appearance of the property speaks volumes and adds a sadness and sense of solitude to the scene that is almost tangible.

I really like the B&W tones, distribution of light, and your superb blending.  Your techniques and composition were perfect for this subject.
