A Woman of Valor, Eshet Khayil in Hebrew, is a hymn which is

customarily recited by the husband to his wife on Friday evenings, after

returning from synagogue, before sitting down to the Shabboth evening

meal.

Eshet Chayal, as long as they don't linger in the public domain or sit next to a male or step out of line... Okay, I'm skeptical about the absorption of the meaning....I guess we've gone here before.  Aside from this, I like your framing/presentation of this very much (except it's slightly, just minutely difficult to read).

I see no contradiction. Nothing in "Eshet Chayal" that says anything about lingering, sitting or stepping out of line. Nothing in the proverb that says she must be Haredi or abide by Islamic "Sharia Law". The worth of Today's "Women of Valor" is still far above pearls. She may be the single working mother, or the teacher, the homemaker, Congress Woman Gifford, the Prime Minister, the Israeli Chayalot in the IDF..... [that is how I read it]. It is difficult to read the script, mostly because photo.net allows postings no larger than 1500 dpi. Maybe the attached crop shows it better?
