Young and old. Like the mood and the snow in Rome. The composition and the perspective are good.

All the old have been young! We should not make the mistake to think that young and old belong to different worlds!

That said, I feel that this photo, while showing nice scene, lacks "depth" or, if you want, separation of the different planes. Maybe you can try to throw the background out of focus.

It must be said that the scene is extremely bright due to the snow, probably you had to stop down the aperture completely, but the F5 is as fast as 1/8000 of a second!

i like the chosen perspective and the composition

the curving arc of the kerb, the trash can and the bench, all seem to be giving them space even as they enclose them... the other pair (one obviously elderly, the other not) are well positioned in the frame to become part of the backdrop

Potresti provare con un filtro giallo. O rosso per un contrasto ancora più spinto.

I love pictures who have two or more points of interest, with the eyes traveling for one to the other. This is such a picture. The leading line of the road adds to the strength of the picture. Also the contrast between the younger and older couple is great.

Two couples are making this shot...very nicely done :).

Snow in Rome too :-)  Nice moment & nicely composed.....although I tend to agree with Luca above as well. A more pronounced separation of the two planes (by throwing one of the couples slightly out of focus), might have enhanced the depth & interest of the photo even more...   Gr, M
