squiver 0 Posted February 16, 2012 This one is from last year's Turkey workshop. I really like surreal landscapes with strong, graphic geological shapes, and this place is as surreal as it can get. The balloons make it even more bizarre. The next morning we were in one of those ourselves. charliecrusan 0 Posted February 17, 2012 The balloons add color and life to an already amazing landscape. It seems as though one of the natural obelisks are going to pop a balloon.Regards,Charlie Link to comment
stp 6 Posted February 17, 2012 I suppose it's a striking contrast (and I also thought about the wisdom of having balloons in the vicinity of pointed spires), but I find the presence of these bright balloons in the midst of these incredible natural features to be greatly degrading of the natural history of this site and to be almost disrespectful of this national geological treasure.
