Ummm…yes, we’re still alive ,yes there’s still a point in surviving, even though we have had more than enough of our so called “representatives” .Each nation deserves the politicians the masses elect, we are no exception Today .

I salute the supporters of the Greek people for everyone’s being so thoughtful. I’ll soon catch up with you again ,post new images and comment on your photos.

Her expression speaks. The light on her face is perfect. If I have a quibble it is with the intensity of the light on her shoulder. I personally found it more appealing after reducing it by a stop. I guess I would also give her a softer look by reducing overall contrast and with a little fill light applied...

thanks for your comment and thanks for taking the time. The RGB values are very similar on the face and shoulder. Granted is brighter on the ball of the shoulder nearest to us. This is a low key portrait and you should look at the histogram without the white border. However look at the darker version, which I personally prefer.

Thank you my friend!!! I still prefer the darker version. I printed it and in the trial to the final print the one that worked best for me was my version 2. It's all very subjective anyway.

Very imposing portrait that engages the viewer 's attention with the careful framing and the mastering of the directional lighting. Black and White is a very demanding medium and this post is a very persuasive display of your talent and skills involved. The model's expression implies more than what is shown ,an always needed element for a successful portrait ,as I see it. Best regards!
