Katarzyna,

Smoking always was and still is cool -- if used well in your photograph. It just isn't very healthy to do.

Vivi certainly is a cutie and I love her expression and eye contact with the camera (viewer) -- quite the sexy look. Your focus and her make-up are excellent. She has separated her lower eyelashes very well. Nicely used mascara. Her eyes really stand out well. I am drawn right to them. The contrast is also very good. The neutral and out of focus background is well done. She is very well separated from the background. I like her skin tone and the highlights. The rim lighting on her nose and her left cheek is especially nice. You have done a wonderful job of separating her nose from her cheek.

You composition is very good, but I might have included a tad more on top to move her eyes down a bit in the frame. I can't find a good reason to use a horizontal format with a vertical subject, unless some copy is planned for the right side that you didn't tell us about. A vertical format might have worked better.

The angle of her cigarette is too far to the left (her right). It just looks a bit odd.

Her lips look a little dry. A bit of gloss might help.

Be careful of multiple catchlights in her eye. One catchlight per eye is preferred. It is not a good idea to have catchlights right in the center of the pupil. Above and to the side of center looks more natural.

The cascading of her fingers work very well, but you don't want to have the back (or palm) of the hand towards the camera. The edge (side) of the hand towards the camera is thinning, feminine and graceful. You don't want to make her fingers look chubby.

There are a few light spills on the right side of her neck and cheek bone. Those should be removed.

It is quite appropriate to place your name and the date the photograph was made, if you wish, on a mat surrounding your photograph. You don't want anything to draw the viewer's attention away from your subject.

Nice shot,

Mark
