The sky in this photograph has great impact and power.  The billowing darkness surges forward with an air of menace.  Some of the cloud appears a bit noisy though (some of the darker areas look speckled).  In spite of this, the foreground is very crisp - I'm just a bit unclear as to what it is (a barrier? a dam? a random pile?).  The foreground seems a little lost and overshadowed (literally) by the sky.  Still a very intriguing image, good work!

This picture was taken at my olivegrove just before the heavy shower along with the other picture in the serie (P1010321 kalebic BW.JPG) which is in my landscapes portfolio.

As for the pile of stones - it is not random. In my part of the world (Dalmatia) there is a plenty of stones and a little of earth so in the old times people were cleaning their field of the stones and made a walls which were used as a border of the field and to prevent erosion of the soil. The excess were used to make this piles which you can see in the picture. It was done for centuries so this walls and piles are actually a world heritage ( one example is the Primosten area which is on UNESCO list).
