frigo 4,155 Posted February 16, 2012 Thank you.Unfortunately these rural/mountain commuters often run on overdue tires which can make the trip pretty tricky especially during the rainy season with sometimes tragic results as you can imagine.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 7, 2014 Should get High with that ride! Good thing it is an Express bus - should get you to your final destination fairly quickly! I am thinking that I would ride on top because you can make the quickest exit just in case .... Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted September 7, 2014 Not sure about riding the top;these roads in the foothills of the Andes are a string of switchbacks as you can see by the roadsign with no guardrail protection whatsoever against a fall in the hundreds of meters of ravine waiting at each turn. What is telling though is the multitude of monuments along this and other trails to those whom have left their lives when similar buses could not manage to stay on the trail.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
