davidmccracken 2 Posted February 14, 2012 Perhaps a little too high key. Do let me know. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
mario2 0 Posted February 14, 2012 Well, as you said maybe is a bit out of a classic high key, although in photography as an art we can do our interpretation out of pure rules... You Know, really is a bit surprising for my taste, but isn´t a bad image of course, although her legs has this ghost appearance ,in fact your post edition is deliberate finding this new effect.By the way for my taste is more important the narrow space leaved at the bottom,I would prefer more space in this area, about the red pepper is the counter in the image.Best regards Link to comment
gsaphoto 0 Posted February 14, 2012 Original and creative presentation. Quite interesting effect. Well done! Link to comment
gsphotoguy 2 Posted February 14, 2012 I like that way you have used high-key in a unique way. In photography, as in many areas of like, you don't know where the boundaries are until you push against them. Well made, David! Link to comment
alfbailey 1 Posted February 14, 2012 I really like the effect. It pushes the boundaries as Mark pointed out, and the results speak for themselves. I think this treatment would make a great series of images that could be displayed as a group in very stylish surroundings. Very subtle and classy.Sincere Compliments 7Alf Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 15, 2012 Mario, You comments are very much appreciated. You are correct about the space at the bottom of the frame. Thankfully this is easily corrected. The chilli isn't there. It is just a signature that I attach to my uploaded photographs. Thanks a lot.Grigoriy, I was hoping that would be the case. It is good that you have let me know. Thanks.Mark, The result was created more by playing than having any intent to shoot this. Playing can bring good results. Thanks a lot.Alf, I rarely set out to shoot a series of photographs. While that is also the case here, I do have others. Thanks to your encouragement (and the encouragement of others) I may post them here. Thanks for that encouragement as well as the comment in general.Jim, Thanks. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted February 17, 2012 Beautiful high key image David. I had the feeling that if you tried it you would like it. The slight detail at the end of her legs is wonderful. -Cheers Link to comment
