I like the lighting in the background.

I'm not sure whether this is a shaken head or hair dryer/blower but in any case, I would have preferred the model's face and hair to be sharper. Now her shoulder and breast are the sharpest.  Faster shutter speed?

I know zilch about this kind of photography but I'm not sure I like the model's eyes and mouth being obscured by her hair. Perhaps closer up it would work better.

No hair dryer this was a spinning hair flip @ f:8, ISO 200, & 250th (I know it states 200th of a second here but can assure you it's wrong, it was shot at 250th of a second.)

This kind of shot is used mainly for dynamic fashion and as you mentioned not your thing, I suppose it's a different strokes for different blokes sort of thing eh.
