I really like the abnormal DOP here, highly original and very well presented. Most wouldn't have posted such and image. I look at this and think, welcome sit relax and enjoy the view. Very nice

Very nice colors, but...I'm conservative and again vote for well focused foreground...or background. Actually, there is no point to stop an eye, this total blur doesn't work for me. However, tastes are different, it's just my subjective opinion.

Although I agree with Vlad's comment, I think this photo deserves a 7 in aesthetics because the colors and composition quality. A very personal opinion.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

I am glad that the added sun is appreciated though I feel somewhat guilty of cheeting ;-))

I am also grateful for Vlad's criticism with respect to the blur. In fact, the blur in this photo is neither digital nor intentional. So I will have motivation to visit this place a couple more times paying particular attention to DOF and tripod stability.

I like the composition and the color. At least in the online image the focus seems softer than I like. Is the bench or the trees in the mid-ground the focus?

I agree with Vlad P. At least *something* should be in focus.

The view is nice, that added sun looks very natural, though.

Great title and good job with the sun. Having spent enough money on snow removal this winter to pay for a pair of 10Ds, I hope the white stuff in the foreground is really crushed gravel.

Add my voice to the focus chorus. The eye needs, even demands a point of focus. Something's gotta be sharp, then the rest can fuzz. But you really have to have a "point of reference" or the eye/mind is boogled and baffled and extremely uncomfortable.
