I like this Gunnar, the photographer traveling the lonely winter road, the world you see is much the world you present… I like the classic simplicity, the ease of the comp with perfectly delivered, delicate, grays and whites, the anti-extravagant approach all that's needed to carry the photograph.

Another masters class from you. This is so hyper-real that I half expect a Magritte-like surprise, a little detail that turns the everyday view of the world upside down. But this is no simple parlor trick; the picture is so complete in itself, in creating its own exquisite universe, that it loosens the tired straps that bind us to everyday reality and allows us to enter into into its (and your) magical world. Terrific.

Superb tonal contrast throughout combined with a dynamic composition and well balanced lighting, it's a definite winner!

Sincere Compliments

Elegant landscape with perfect distribution of detail and blank space. I also feel a sense of motion looking at the road ahead. Best wishes.

The first thought that hit my head when seeing this image was 'infra-red' processing!...  I'm no expert on nothing, but there is no way that this image is something rather special by any rationale.

best wishes ~ mike

(P.S. I perhaps would have shown a tad  less of the bottom bit of the frame, but that is just a personal/subjective preference.)
