Village Painting

Pierre Dumas

The picture of the environment was taken long time ago and I'm not sure with what camera, it doesn't matter after all for a heavy filter was applied to it anyway! The woman picture was taken with the Sony with 2X tele convertor!

Pierre, This has a real painting feel to it, reminds of the old oil paintings from the 19 Century. The 2 houses work really well here joined by the path. There is alsoa nice triangulation working between them and the lady, Nice work.

Very different from your composition picture, but very good. The roads leading the eye through the image, and the painting effect works well.

Well done,

Ben

Lovely work Pierre!!!

You took special care with this composition, it is well demonstrated, and it is not just another 'painterly effect'. Truly has the 'feel' of a real painting!!!

Very well conceived and presented Pierre!!!

Congrats, Gail

Funny to see the nun again from "Hey, teachers..III" . She is now walking alone and all the attention is focussed on her. What is her function in this picture? In my opinion she has the choise to go to the white house right or to go straight to the smaller house on a less pleasant place. Choice between rich and poor, light and dark?  Changing times of religions? Regards Marco

Quest que c'est?  Formidable!  That's actually a painting, right?  Could you dapple the nun in there seamlessly if you wanted to?  best, j

p.s.:  Mais Non!  Pas de tout.  C'est une photo.  Formidable encore une fois.  I think you should dapple her in.

A wonderful painting-like image that creates a visual impression of the 18th century. Excellently created and presented. Great image,Pierre.

My friend Pierre,

I see that you replaced the brush with your camera and skills in post processing.

A spectacle to behold.

Superb work all around.

All the best, Uncle Mike

Good work Pierre.

You have produced an image with unusual processing that was even before the processing exceptional. I like it.
