Only the sound of wind and river could be heard here most of the time

now. It a small area in British Columbia on Fraser river that is

protected by First Nations people, it is an area where gold seekers

over 100 years ago were were trying to strike it rich. Thank you for

viewing and critique.

George,  Thanks for posting this excellent and informative image.  The explanation that you provide with it enhances the image and makes it a meaningful documentary as well.   I wonder if your use of a sepia tone relates to the quest for gold in yesteryear?  The composition and sharpness of the image are excellent.  The lower shadow area is a nice surprise - is it  a cave where the First Nations lived?  Is this site related to the anasazi cave dwellings in the United States around the 12th and 13th centuries?   I have made several trips to BC and am most interested in the area.  Where is this locale on the map?  Thanks again.  Best regards.  Larry

I have to agree with Larry, George.  The story coupled with the composition and detail make this a very interesting image.  I  live in BC, and was wondering where this landform is?  Is this a result of hydraulic mining?  Good one!

Paul
