Title refers to the spent flower, blooming flower and the flower bud. These Day Lilies blossums only last for one day and normally produce a new flower each day. Image was taken in my flower garden, ambient light, very late in the afternoon, 30 minutes after sunset. The light was so dim I had difficulty focusing. Black background was added in PS.

This image was shot just before nightfall. I had difficulty focusing

because of the lack of light. This flower was shot outdoors in my

garden, no flash just ambient light.

Funny how the title can add so much to my appreciation of a photo in certain cases. Very nice shot. I'd like a bit more breathing room around the subject, especially on the left.

Much more interesting than all the "beautiful" flower photos. In general, I don't care much for propogated flower photos. I like wildflowers so much more. This is a fantastic shot and it's the unique idea that makes it work.
