An interesting sculpture. I wonder how it would look in black and white, since the sky is so unintersting. I always question the validity of calling one's work FINE ART when photographing someone else's art. I suppose as long as you aren't selling or exhibiting it publicly, the question is mute. What do you think?

Lynne, I am just seeing this comment.  Forgive me for not answering before now.  I have long wanted to take a seminar on legal issues surrounding photography.  I've always thought public places were fair game.  I mean it's obvious this isn't my work, and I have no earthly idea who the sculptor was for this.  With some serious sleuthing I could probably find out, but to my knowledge there is not a plaque describing the work.  Certainly food for thought.  I will try this in B&W....it may work nicely.  Thanks for your comment.
