Both sides of my family came to America from either England, Scotland, Ireland, or France...and settled in North Carolina. Every time I visit NC, I feel like I'm home, though I've lived in Tennessee most of my life. The rural architecture is so much alike in the two states...including the houses, such as the one in your picture. So you've succeeded in giving me that warm feeling of "home" ! This reminds me of how much I love the fact that photographs have such a wonderful way of connecting total strangers in ways we might never imagine. Thanks for sharing a beautiful picture!
