This is very lovely.  The tilt of the young girl's head, the way she is holding on to the woman's arm tells a story.  Very nice overall - a couple of black things on the upper left that are distracting, but very nice over all.

Thank you for commenting and for pointing out those "black things". They could easily been cloned or cropped out had I seen them.

Tough call to pick a favourite among your three most recent posts but the inclusion of Khadija tipped the scales for me.  Her sweet shyness still allows her to pose as long as she can feel the security and safety with a closeness to Ruby.  Your use of the 105mm lens allows you to stay outside her comfort zone.  It also allows for a desirable softness in the background.  Meir, you have a knack for these up close & personal street portraits.  You are providing a valuable service in bringing these faces from your neighborhood to the rest of us out here on the internet.  Stuff like this brings the occupants of once 'far off lands' into our homes so they are no longer thought of as 'far away'  but simply next door to our neighborhoods.   The world shrinks, and hopefully our recognition of and respect for each other will expand in direct proportion.  Best, LM.

Len; thank you for sharing your thoughts. This "mutual respect" does profoundly exist. It is one of the nice things about living in Jerusalem. Plus, we have  the most beautiful girls in all of the world. Nearly everyday I fall in love with someone new.
