jim,  there is no way to meld the colors, in flower images quite like the natural sun,  usually the later in the day the better the results.  this image led me to your portfolio,  which i enjoyed,  some lovely work!

I love the back lighting and the composition.   My husband just bought me a Cannon 100mm macro.  I can't wait to use it!
