Nature's Bouquet

I took this photograph in 2007 and I never did anything with it

because it just didn't move me. However, while looking over my old

images for a possible "new image " to work on, I saw it in a

completely different light. Using selective blurring and a little of

the Pixel Bender filter, to me, a wonderful image emerged. I will

almost post the original raw for comparison.

Nicely processed and like the bokeh effect!

Leo, two things strike me in this image. The BG leaf needs to be toned down a little, and the FG petals could be a little less blurred. Of course, this is my not so humble opinion. You have certainly made a beautiful image out of the raw material. Once more we see the advantage of time when reviewing images.

Thanks for the input Jeff, these are two points that are very worthy of consideration. I believe that I should start spending a little more in review and studying after I finish a more complex image such as this. Thanks again Jeff, for your astute observations.
