I tried an experiment with the split toning technique that's comletely new to

me. The two tones used here are a warm yellow-orange for the lights and a

metal-blue for the shadows. I'm eager to read your comments.

Thanx for stopping by.

Great atmosphere. I love the tones and textures. Superb work, quite different from what I've seen earlier (not in quality, just content and mood).

Hi Rajat, happy to see you here. Thank-you for your appreciation, you know it means a lot to me. As far as the mood ... in some way reflects my own mood in this period. :-)

PS: Let me add a note to the critique request posting title: I spoke there about "I promessi sposi" (in english "The Betrothed"). It' a a novel, written in 1840 by A. Manzoni and is considered the founding moment of the modern italian literature. Pescarenico, a small village along the river Adda and now part of the town of Lecco in Lombardy, is the place where the protagonists lived and where the story starts from.
