The church is built of limestone o.1250-1300. Then layn it in a good

distance from the cliff. The legend tells that the church every Christmas

night move a tiny step towards in the country but this has not been able

to prevent a disaster.

 

On 16 March 1928 overthrew the church choir and a part of the

cemetery in the ocean after the ravages of time had gnawed into the

cliff. The church was however by safety reasons been closed down

already in 1910.

 

The remainder of the building is now carefully protected and can be

viewed in daytime. It's a great experience to go out on the balcony, from

which is an incredible view of the Baltic Sea.

 

The picture was taken on a cold and dark january evening.
