My photographer insist that I am gorgeous and my shyness is my

strength, but it is hard for me to believe him. Can you help me, I will

read every comment as my photographer place this image in

facebook. Thank you for looking. Rates/Comments highly appreciated.

You are lovely model!

Yes, everything your photographer told you is true! Say hello to him from me and tell him that he didn't have to use such a high shutter speed at a cost of noise on your so tender skin complexion!

Best regards!

This is a beautiful portrait, Jorge. Please pass along to your subject that she should let you photograph her more and often.

There is a wonderful informality in her pose, as if you just happened to capture her like this. The strap of her purse adds to that feel. Her expression has that slight smile that is so difficult to get when you try. I love the way her hair is slightly unstyled and falls over the one shoulder.

Model is lovely as can be. Her shyness does show up in her expression. I would show a little more at the bottom, to include the whole necklace. Purse strap does not help. Skin tone is a bit magenta, and a TINY bit of softening would also be good.

Jorge,

Yes, you are a cutie with a very nice smile. Jorge is right-on with his comments and I hope you allow him to photograph you many more times. I'm sure it will make him feel very happy to have a pretty girl to shoot.

Les Berkley did a nice job in his edited version of your portrait and his suggestions. I would go even a step farther with lowering the crop on the bottom. Notice the neckline of your top. The viewer's eyes will go to the “V” formed by the sides of the neckline and follow it down and out of the photograph because there is nothing there to stop them. He should try to crop below where the “V” of the neckline comes together so that the viewer's eyes have a place to stop. It is a good idea to try to keep the viewer's eyes within the photograph.

I would add a little more room on the left side (your right) or crop a tad off the right side. By placing the tip of your nose more in the vertical center of the frame you will have better left and right compositional balance. Because your face is turned slightly to your right you will also be facing more into the picture. Right now you are facing just slightly out of the picture.

It would be nice to get a little more light on your eyes and provide a nice catchlight in them. This would allow your eyes to stand out even better.

You look like you have a very nice shape, but you would appear even a little thinner than you are if your would turn at a bit of an angle to the camera. You usually don't want to be facing straight on to the camera. Straight across your chest is one of the widest areas of your body.

Nice shot,

Mark

Everything works in this photograph to create a strong presence.  She is posing, but on her own terms.

A nice candid portrait.

She is a lovely model that should allow you to do some more work of her.

The eyes and slight smile betray her fear of the camera but she shouldn't fear it at all. A nice portrait of a lovely model.

Nice.

Sweet and gorgeous, with a charming smile. Les has done a wonderful editing job and Mark has contributed positively as always on the art and technique of portraiture. As this is a casual document I accept the sum of the little imperfections pointed out by them as a foil to her perfections...
