Thanks for viewing/comments! ... left the big gun (500mm) at home and just

have to make do with the smaller gun (100-400mm) :-) - You know, it's the

Fish & Games Department and even though they do replenish Fish to the

pond they like to play Games and never tell us when they do it. Only the

fishermen & Birders like us get ... the bad end, the cormorants get all the

fish with no license either, LOL!

Thanks Michael! You are probably correct, the result would have been nicer even with this smaller 'gun' if the operator know how to shoot better. :-)

No, I won't cut my f-stop since I needed it for wing to wing sharpness. :-)

Nice capture Tue.  That 8.5 pound 500mm does get heavy sometimes!  I just bought a backpack for mine so I can carry it further to surf sites :D

Thanks Dominick! Good for you, when I travel I just stuff all my camera, lenses, flashes in a large computer backpack (no laptop). It's a lot safter to have one's hands free for balancing while walking, I think.
