Wayne Sadler 558 Posted February 1, 2012 Local Color Along some streets of Florence, Italy, the buildings seem to encase and an overcast sky feels like a ceiling completing the enclosure. At these overcast times, the colors of Tuscany - the creams, rusty oranges and yellow/gold are almost hidden. In processing this image I stumbled upon colors that helped me romanticize in my memory the colors of Florence and the grey damp atmosphere that was Florence half the time I was there loving every minute. Comments and critique welcome. Link to comment

harlequin 0 Posted June 14, 2013 There is something very lyrical about this shot. I love the color tonong on the upper buildings The two men on cell phones are almost comical in this setting, and yet such a slice of life, today. Was the curve this strong in the street/buildings, or have you done a little bendin to create more of the illusiopn? Lovely shot. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 558 Posted June 14, 2013 Thanks, Charles, for visiting and your observations. The curve was there. I thought it an odd parallaxing effect too. I think you and I are the only two who read the almost comical and odd appearance of this street scene. Link to comment
