guillelobera 0 Posted January 30, 2012 The Plaza Nueva is located in the Casco Viejo (Old Town) of Bilbao, inthe pedestrian area declared a Historic-Artistic Monument, It was thefirst place in the city, its original name was Plaza de Fernando VIIand it worked major public institutions, making it their moment ofglory, in the civic and commercial center of the city. It’s currently the headquarters of the Basque Language Academy(Euskaltzaindia) and hosts a lively market on Sundays where they mixand other small animals birds, seals, coins, antiques, used items andother objects that fascinate collectors Link to comment
